Health and Safety

COVID-19 Policy:

Photographers are fully vaccinated and wear face coverings throughout the duration of the portrait session. Added sanitizing precautions are in place for equipment and props. By booking and attending your portrait session you are fully acknowledging and assuming all responsibility for the risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19.

Outdoor Portrait Sessions:

Northwest Arkansas is a rugged landscape that is subject to sudden rock falls, changes in weather, and flash flooding. Use an abundance of caution when crossing streams and other natural trail obstacles. Use caution when approaching dangerous areas such as bluffs, caves, and cliffs. Always be sure of your footing. Do not attempt to cross streams in high water. Travel on designated trails and do not leave the visual field of the group. Arkansas is home to 36 different species of snakes. Only 6 species are venomous. To learn to identify them please refer to the Arkansas Snake Guide provided in your Welcome Packet. Please do not harm snakes or other wildlife you encounter on the trail. The best precaution is to avoid snake habitats such as brush, rock piles, and sunny rock ledges. Learn to identify irritating plants such as poison ivy and avoid any contact with your skin and clothing. Chiggers, ticks, and other biting insects are abundant in Northwest Arkansas. Wear appropriate protective clothing and don’t forget to use DEET-based insect repellent on your skin, clothing, and footwear. Ticks can carry a variety of diseases. Always check your skin after a trip on the trail and remove ticks within 24 hours to avoid the chance of illness. For information on ticks and tick-borne diseases, see information from the Centers for Disease Control.

Our state’s natural beauty is a gift that deserves reverence and respect. Your party’s adherence to the following guidelines is critical in preserving the harmony of our natural environment for generations to come.
